Yesterday and Today

Hi there
One of the online classes i am doing at the moment is with Ali Edwards and its called Yesterday and Today so here is my first page and this one is a digital page. (don't laugh at the photos, you are about to see me as you have never seen me before)
The next two pages are 'hybrids' which means i have printed out the journalling block on the computer then stuck it on to paper, i haven't enhanced or cropped any of these photos (that's something Ali very rarely does) so this is what they looked like when i snaffled them from mum.

Oh to be so slim again.
OK enough of that.
In my last Cocoa Daisy kit we got some sublime Jenny Bowlin butterflys and i just had to put them to use making these cards that were inspired by Dawn Mcvey ,

Blue and brown is my new favourite colour combo.
There is a bit of quilting going on around here and hopefully i will have more to show you tomorrow.
xx

Linda...I am gobsmacked. These pages, for me, capture the essence of why we scrapbook. What a WONDERFUL, wonderful thing to preserve these memories. You go girl! I can't explain how heartwarming it is to see these, and the journaling is awesome. To see these pages amidst all the product-based pages that are everywhere at the moment...it makes me believe again that scrapbooking is a worthwhile hobby! (wow, that sounded a bit like a sermon hahahahahahaha)
Loving your cards (as always) and can't wait to see how your quilting is going!

I am with Susan, I did this very class last year and this was my favourite page to do. I didn't have any photo's but I made up for it journalling. And its the stories we really do love the best.
