More ruffles & project life

Hi there, hope this post finds you all well.(gosh sounds like a letter doesn't it)
Anyway I whipped up another ruffle tea towel so now I have a matching set.

Our next Label crew is in this fabric so I wanted to make these to match, I also have plans for mug mats coz it all has to match.(have I said that already)

Here is the LHS of my week 20 in Project Life.

I used goodies from my Cocoa Daisy kit.

For the RHS I did something a bit different. Seeing I didn't have many photos from the week, but Caitlin did as she had been to a music festival I decided to do a 12x12 page.

Mmmm I have lots to say bout this page
-the banner idea came from a Two Peas Garden Girl (you should sign up for their newsletter it has videos, tips, digital freebies and lots more)
-there is no journaling as its on one of the cards on the Left hand page
-I used a collage from photoshop, select the collage you want, select the photos and voila it even puts them in the frame for you
-speaking of frames I do love these ones it's the professional frame no 1 if you have PSE
-the banner was made with My Minds Eye Nostalgia papers 6x6 pad.love this line
- not to happy with the wording on the wrist tag thingy they were all issued with. Oh my, well my girl is twenty next month-feeling older by the minute.
-will have to be EXTREMELY creative for week 21 as the back of this will be my LHS.
-Caitlin looks like some cool hippie chick, but the look suits her
-ok can't think of any more points

Enjoy your night
It's roast beef here tonight no vegetables yet so I had better get my butt into gear.

Ruffles

Here's something that I whipped up with my free time on Mothers Day (thanks Caitlin / previous post)

A ruffled tea towel.
Our next Labelcrew project is a table runner and I will be making it in these fabrics so I thought a matching tea towel was the way to go.
In my mind I have plans to make matching mug mats as well, but, there are a lot of projects in my mind at the mo, hopefully this one will see fruition. (ha that's a big word).

Now I'm just going to bore you with a few photos that I have taken, b/c I'm a good girl and am doing my homework from my photography class.

And this one my favourite

Thanks for stopping by

The Perfect Mothers Day Present

It didn't cost anything (which is good for a uni student with little money) but to me it was the bestest present ever.

All my ironing done, which gave me time to craft.
Thanks Caitlin, I'm so very lucky.

Three cards

Good morning and Happy Mothers Day to you all ( even if you are not celebrating MD today).

I had a lovely sleep in, then my mum came over for a quick brunch, now I'm having a little rest writing this post then I will attack my mountain of ironing, then I'm crafting. (well that's the plan).

The living room smells wonderful, full of fresh flowers. I was lucky to get three bunches.

Anyway my reason for posting today was to share with you three cards I have made. A few weeks back Papertrey Ink posted a "make it Monday " video demonstrating how to make three cards using the same base but adding more layers for each card.

Here is my first one

Well actually it's two. This was meant to be the simple one- a single layer card. I just couldn't get it right, dah,
So I progressed to the next one

Argh that's better, a few more layers
Now for the last one, even more layers

I like the way all three (4) turned out but I can't believe I found the single layer card the hardest.

Going to tackle that mountain now
Enjoy your day
