A Busy Week

Hello everyone I have been busy doing Caitlin's journal so I haven't posted anything this week. I have really enjoyed doing this as each page is quick and easy to do it's been great fun. I have done 12 pages already and I am only on their first day. I hope it's still as much fun when I finally get to Joe's album. So now I am going to bore you with the whole 12 pages. Still cant get them on the bottom of this page so you have probably already looked at them. I have to say again how much I love the BG Euphoria papers, oh, and my new owl clear stamps aren't they cute.

Ok it is taking me toooo long to put all 12 pages on here so here is a couple.

Hope to see ya all tomorrow at TM's 12 hour scrap session.

Two posts in one day

Yes I am back, I have finished all their washing and ironing and am now up to date. I just had to share with you the front cover of the mini album I am doing for Caitlin. And yes I will be using a pink theme. I luv this journal from Creative Cafe. Girls-do they come in blue or black? I need one for Joe. I just had to use the new Basic Grey Euphoria papers as they match really well with my pink theme. You cant see in the photo but I went over the manilla paint with the Making Memories Glitter Glaze.

Now Sonya and Tracey I tried the pearly thing with the heat gun but I dont think I put enough stuff (great terminology) on. So when all else fails I then sprayed it with Glimmer mist and ta da I think it looks ok.

Home Sweet Home

OK before anyone says anything I forgot to rotate the photo of Caitlin and now I cant work out how to do it from here so you will just have to turn your heads upside down to look at it.....

Well Caitlin and Joe arrived home safely last night. I just thought that I would share with you a couple of photos that they took. Can you believe that they only managed to get one photo together, who wants to go on a school trip with your brother or sister? So they probably pretended not to know each other.

I cant complain because between the two of them they took nearly 400 photos (obviously children of a scrapper) so that should keep me busy for a while. I love the photo of the remembrance wall at the War Memorial i feel inspiration coming on already for a page featuring that photo.

Any way I am now off to do all their washing and ironing for a week in one day.

Have a good week everyone.

My Child Free Week

Yes Caitlin and Joe are away in Sydney and Canberra so Andrew and I are alone in the house. What does one do???? Scrap, scrap, scrap and go out to dinner. I have been busy doing nothing. I did tidy up one of my boxes of photo's and found this one that my sister-in-law had given to me, it was our first christmas in our new house. Again I had to use my Craft Queen ribbons and my clear Bijou Border Stamps (Tracey). I also had to use these great new Making Memories mini alpha stickers that came in our pack on Monday night.

On Monday at night at Tracey's class I just had to purchase something as everyone knows I can't leave without buying something, well I bought a Creative Cafe journal/album all ready for when the kids come home with all their photos that they have been ordered to take. I will have to go back to TM's as i think I spied a Twiddlybitz stand with the capital cities on them this would be ideal for my next project.
I spent this afternoon watching a Bali copy of Mama Mia, wow, was it good with AbbA and Peirce Brosnan (have always luvd him) it was great I didn't even mind his bad singing.

Caitlins Dinner Dance

Just wanted to share with you my double layout of Caitlins big night out. The second page was inspired by Becs engagement album, what a great way to get a lot of photos on one page. I am so loving my Craft Queen ribbons.

Have a great weekend..

Go Aussie

Go Aussie Well the Olympic Games are finally here and my husband has been glued to the TV since they started, luckily they only go for 2 weeks. Today I am posting two pages that I have completed. The one of my mother-in law and father in-law is for the monthly challenge at Tomorrow Memories and includes my new Bijou Border stamps and some really nice thick transparency from Creative Cafe, the other page of my son Joe was inspired by a layout from the Basic Grey Gallery and if any one is ever lacking inspiration go into their newsletter section as they give you a free sketch to help you get going.I am yet to learn how to get my photos in amidst my blogging so you either get it at the end or at the beginning sorry about that.Caitlin and Joe have 6 days to go until they leave for Syd/Canberra. That means And & I will be alone for an entire week, I think I feel a massive headache coming on. OOps did I write that. It will be very strange not having them around I miss them already and they haven't even left yet. Anyway hope that you all have a great week, I am going to make some more Christmas villages that I did in a class of Traceys' they are fun to make and will make a good prezzy.. Go Aussie GO.

What a busy week

Here I am again, my time is short as I have to pick Caitlin up from work in 20 minutes. I hope that I can remember what to do.I find that it takes me longer to do my blog stuff than it takes me to scrap a page. (sometimes)

Here is what I have been working on this week.

Here We Go

Wow this is exciting and scary at the same time. I really don't know what i am doing or how to add photos to this post so i will just play it by ear.

My daughter Caitlin who is 16 came home from school today with an invitation to a party and it said BYO surely 16 is way to young to be BYowing to parties. Caitlin has never even had a full glass of anything just the odd sip or taste. Any way she is not GOING..... I didn't have to tell her no she just has a very busy weekend planned for that date and wasn't all that interested. PHEW i don't have to play the mean mum. Or do you think that i am being too old fashioned. Well is it any wonder that i look the way i do in the photo below (that's if i can work out how to include it in this post). I am trying to use all of my clear stamps as i seem to be a bit addicted to them, I buy them but never use them, anyway one of my teachers at Tomorrow Memories-Tracey has inspired me to do this page using some of my stamps. Thank you Tracey.

On another note thank you to all of the ladies at Tomorrow Memories you make me feel like a friend not just a customer and I love coming to your store whether its to buy something, to do a class or just for a coffee Thanks I really appreciate it.
